'The World Died Today While You Were On Your Phone' is I Hold the Great Rack's multi-panelled series on Instagram that repurposes mainstream media to redefine how experimental art can be consumed by reflecting the platform on which it inhabits. It's an evolving work that interrogates social media's narcissistic culture, passive activism and perpetuation of tired norms to bring a new perspective to our default scrolling gaze.
